Camping terms and conditions
To make your stay at our camp and that of fellow campers as pleasant as possible, we have prepared a number of conditions. With this it is clear to everyone what we can expect from each other. If you wish, we can also mail these terms to you.
Guests are required to inform themselves of these terms and conditions, and to comply with them. They are also obliged to ensure that all of their fellow campers are aware of these terms and conditions and behave in accordance.
General.
1. By entering into the agreement, these terms and conditions apply. Our reservation confirmations always refer to these terms and conditions. Upon request, a copy of these terms and conditions shall be provided to the guests.
2. Between 22.30 pm and 7.00 am absolute calm prevails on the site; guests are expected to be quiet and respect the other campers.
3. On the camping site caravans, trailers, motor homes and tents are allowed. Double-axle caravans and motorhomes with double rear axle are not allowed.
4. The pitches are pre-classified based on preferences of the guests and availability.
5. The plots should be used and kept clean by guests.
6. Guests should not disturb other guests, including noise and excessive drinking.
7. Garbage, glass, paper etc. should be disposed off in the appropriate places. Main bins are on the road.
8. In no case the toilets may be used to flush tampons, sanitary towels, chemicals or other things that can harm the functioning of the septic tank. Also, fats and oils should not be flushed down the toilets, or the sinks.
9. Your caravan-/camper toilet can be emptied only if you are using a biological toilet fluid ( such as Aqua Green Comb or Combi-Toilet).
10. For damage to, loss or theft of property of the guests, the owner / operator is not liable.
11. In disputes all ( legal) costs are for account of the guests.
12. The stay at the campsite and use of the pool are for the guests own risk. 13. Children under 12 are only allowed to enter the pool area under the supervision of an adult.
14. Damage and missing items of movable and immovable property of owner / manager must be reported and paid for to the owner / manager immediately by the guests. The remaining funds for the mini-camp have to be paid on arrival.
15. The decision of the owner / manager is final in disagreement unless the guests can prove otherwise.
16. The owner / manager is allowed to deny and /or reject guests who breach these terms and conditions or behave inappropriately with immediate access to the camp denied, without notice and without giving any reason and refund.
Reservation and confirmation
Pitches must be booked in advance. If you want to extend your stay later, this is only possible based on availability.
If you have reserved for a certain period of time, your camping fee is payable for the entire period. Early departure does not entitle you to any refund.
After registration (digital or by phone) you will receive a reservation form and the request for a deposit.
No reservation fee will be charged . Upon receipt of the signed booking form and deposit, the reservation is final.
Arrival and departure
Pitches will be available from 3pm onwards.
You must report before taking a place. The owner / manager will ask you to present your booking form and to identify yourself.
On the day of departure, you should vacate the pitch by 10am and the place should be left behind in clean and tidy condition.
Cancellation
If you are unexpectedly unable to accomplish the contract obligations,you are asked to inform the owner as soon as possible, so that the pitch can be offered to other guests.
On cancellation of the booking, the deposit of € 50 per week is non-refundable. You are advised to take a cancellation insurance.
Other conditions
If and to the extent that these terms do not provide for differences of opinion, the explanation is reserved to a French judge.

Mobile Home Terms and Conditions
Article 1 . Legal responsibility of the owner
The owner can not be held responsible for any disruption, modification or unavailability of the mobile home to the customer, if it is the result of unforeseen or insurmountable events beyond his control.
The owner can not be held responsible for inconveniences caused by the work of others, such as town, department, regional administration etc.
The owner shall not be liable for any interruption of utilities ( water, electricity, telephone and internet, etc. ).
The owner takes no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to baggage, personal property or vehicle, as well as costs arising from not reaching the accomodation on time due to delay.
The owner is in no way liable for the consequences of the use of the leased property.
Article 2. Booking and price
A reservation is valid from the moment that the owner receives the required deposit and the online booking notification. The prices of the mobile home are calculated in EURO and are per week ( starting on Saturday ) or other period if so specified in the agreement. VAT is not applicable. Costs of meals, drinks etc. are never included in the price. Final cleaning is required, but not included in the price . Tourist tax is not included in the price.
Article 3. Payment of the rent
For every reservation a €100 Damages Deposit must be paid within 14 days of making your booking. If not paid by then, all rent and fees become fully payable.
Otherwise, all rent and all other costs become finally due six weeks before arrival (or if the booking is for less than six weeks ahead, the deposit and full payment are required).

If payment has not occurred, the renter will be asked by mail to pay the remainder within 5 working days. If not, then this will be seen as a cancellation of the property by the renter and the cancellation conditions of article 4 apply . The owner has the right to re-offer the cancelled dates. If the reservation is less than 6 weeks before the start of the rental period takes place, the full rent, including security deposit, must be paid at once. After receiving the rent, travel documents will be sent by return to the renter. It has all the necessary information relating to directions and address .
The renter must provide identification to the owner / key-holder, if requested.
Article 4. Cancellation by the tenant
Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by letter or by e-mail. The owner will charge amounts , depending on the date of cancellation by the renter:
Cancellation between time of booking and 90 days before the start of the rental period : € 75 administration and booking fee.
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period : 30 % of the rental of the property (excluding deposit).
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50 % of the rental of the property (excluding deposit).
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100 % of the rental of the property (excluding deposit).
Already paid deposit will be refunded if cancelled. Refunds will be made within four weeks of receipt of the cancellation. If the renter is forced to abandon the booking, it is entitled to another person or other persons, to take his place in the same period. There’s no extra charge. The original renter is then bound to give changed data (name , address, etc.) to the owner. The original renter remains liable for the cost of the accommodation to rent. If the renter does not use the property or leaves before the end of the rental period without notice, no refund will take place. To avoid costs for a necessary cancellation, the renter is advised to have a cancellation Insurance.
Article 5. Cancellation by the owner
If, due to unforeseen circumstances the owner must cancel a lease, the renter shall be informed immediately and refund of deposits will occur within 4 weeks. If the cancellation of the lease is not the result of force majeure, the owner will also have to pay an additional amount of 20 % of the rent, which is the usual compensation for damage and inconvenience.
Article 6. Complaints and disputes
Complaints must be immediately reported to the owner / key-holder. (Telephone) contact with the owner is always possible. Also in (serious) incidents in the home you should immediately alert the owner or the key-holder. If the renter refuses to take the accommodation, because the state of the accommodation does not match what they can reasonably expect, he should immediately contact the owner.
The present contract is drawn up and should be interpreted according to French law . All disputes which may arise fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French district court.
Article 7. Description
All loose-leaf information or information on the internet site of the owner on the accommodation, the layout, the furniture or the facilities is given in good faith. If thereby essential change takes place between the time of booking and the start of the rental period, the renter must notify owner so appropriate action can be taken. If, despite everything, the information concerning the accommodation, the layout, the furnishing, the maximum number of occupants or the corresponding provisions turn out to be incorrect, then the renter must notify, so that the owner can immediately recover.
All information regarding tourism and sports activities is provided by third parties and is not the responsibility of the owner.
Article 8. Arrival and departure
The arrival in the accommodation will normally be between 16.00 and 19.00 hours, unless otherwise agreed. It is recommended to contact the owner or key-holder the night before arrival in order to agree on a precise times, and to call again if the appointment is to be changed again due to unforeseen circumstances. If this procedure is not followed, the owner can not be held responsible for the renter not being able to take the accommodation at the time of arrival.
On the day of departure, the accommodation must be left clean by 10 am ( see Article 13).
Article 9. Maximum number of occupants
The accommodation may not exceed 4 persons per stay , unless permission is granted by the owner. If permission is given for extra persons, a surcharge will be calculated at 15 % per additional person. Extra beds are not provided by the owner.
If this number is exceeded without prior authorisation, the owner / key-holder may deny access to the accommodation to these additional people.
Should there be additional people come and stay in the gite at a later time unbeknown to the renter, this immediately creates a claim of 25 % of the rental fee per additional person. Taken from the deposit.
Article 10 . Pets and smoking
After consultation with the owner, you may be allowed to bring a single pet. No smoking is allowed in the accommodation.
Article 11. Guarantee
The deposit is paid in advance by the renter(at least 6 weeks prior to arrival).
This deposit is refunded within 2 weeks after leaving the accommodation, possibly less the costs to repair damage afterwards found at the accommodation. Any damage observed, not reported by the renter to the owner or key-holder, will be reported by the owner to the renter within one week after the end of the rental period.
Article 12. Additional costs
The costs of gas , water and electricity are included in the rent.
For a single bed (€11 p.p.), the linen set includes a fitted sheet , a duvet cover (1.40 x 2.00/2.20m ) and a pillowcase. For the double bed (€ 22) the set contains a fitted sheet, a duvet cover ( 2.40 x 2.00/2.20 m ) and 2 pillowcases. The renter must indicate whether and how much sheet packages are required upon booking. This bed linen has to be paid with the final payment.
The fee for a mandatory final cleaning is € 30.
The tax is € 0.50 p.p.p.n.
Article 13. Cleaning
The accommodation is to be found clean and tidy. If this is not the case, then it should immediately be reported to the owner / key-holder, so that it can be rectified. In addition, the renter must report this to the owner within 24 hours.
Upon departure, the renter must clean the accommodation to leave swept clean, tidy and no dirty dishes. The bed should be packed up in case of renting bed linen. Garbage bags should be deposited along the road in the appropriate containers. The refrigerator and the freezer should be emptied and cleaned.
The owner reserves the right to keep an amount from the guarantee, if the accommodation at the end of the rental period is not left to the above standards.
GDPR Privacy statement camping and gîtes Chez Philipaud
1. Data collection
In our company we offer guests the opportunity to spend their holidays at the campsite or in one of the holiday homes (gîtes). To this end, we collect a number of data that are necessary for our accountability to third parties or for carrying out our business operations. We collect this information exclusively by requesting it from our guests. We do not collect any other data than the data that people themselves give us and do not process this data further. We do not create profiles. If people do not wish to provide the above information, we can unfortunately not offer them a stay on our campsite or in one of the gîtes. Our website is interactive, it is possible to chat with us via the website or to fill in a contact form. After termination of the conversation, the chat will be deleted. Data from the contact form will not be stored there but will be sent to our mailbox. We publish a newsletter several times a year. This is sent to guests who have spent their holidays with us and to people who have indicated that they are interested in the newsletter. Furthermore, we have a Facebook page of Chez Philipaud. This page is public, people are responsible for the reactions they leave there. See also the privacy policy of Facebook.
2. Which data?
We collect data from people staying at our campsite or reserving a stay in one of our gites. It is: • Name and address details; • Nationality; • Accessibility data (telephone, mail address); • Period of residence; • Number of guests and in case of children: the age; • In case of resale of a gîte: IBAN, to return the deposit. • Wishes regarding stay (pitch, rental of linen, arrival meal, other wishes), • The way people have found us.
3. Purpose of data collection
The requested data will only be used to carry out our business operations and to comply with legal requirements. • Name and address details and nationality; these are stored in addition to use for operational management in order to meet the requirements of the gendarmerie (terrorist threat). Only at their request these data will be provided to the gendarmerie; • E-mail address; this is used in addition to use for business operations to send the newsletter of Chez Philipaud to keep people up to date with the latest news about the holiday accommodation; • Data on the period of stay are collected to meet the requirements of the tourist tax; they are delivered in an anonymous form. Number of nights, number of people for which tourist tax is due, and total amount. • All other data are collected exclusively for the company’s own operations.
4. Retention periods of the data
The data is not saved for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it is intended. • Data that can be requested for the gendarmerie (see 3) are stored for 5 years according to the regulations. • Data regarding the stay are kept until the settlement of the tourist tax, no later than 1 year after the stay;• Information about the way in which you have found this holiday residence is anonymized by us for 5 years for our business operations; • E-mail addresses for sending the newsletter are saved until people indicate that they no longer wish to receive the newsletter. • Other data will be kept until 1 January of the year following the stay.
5. Rights of the owner of the data
People are always entitled to access, rectify or erase their data, unless the data must be retained in order to comply with legal obligations. People have the right to object. In case of a request to stop sending the newsletter, we will immediately delete the e-mail address. Furthermore, you have the right to transfer the data if you wish to transfer it to another party. Finally, people have the right to lodge a complaint with the authority for the collection of personal data.
